The Highhills Herd of Pedigree Limousins was established By Kim, Linda & Richard Newburn, Halifax in 2015. A change in farming policy has forced the sale of 13 Cows & Calves, 1 Stock Bull & 3 Junior Bulls.

The herd is in a tB4 testing parish and of High Health Status and registered as:

Accredited Free of BVD (since 5th March 2018)

IBR (since 21st January 2021)

Monitored Free of Leptospirosis (since 6 December 2017)

And has achieved Risk Level 1 Johne’s Disease Status (since 8th January 2019).

Neospora Risk Level 4 Status (Since 21st January 2021).

All the cows have run with the run with the Bull “Elderberry Northerner” and have all been PD’d back in calf on 20th August 2021.
