Trade peaked at £134 or 352.6pkg for Beltex from W G Parker, Green Hills with heavy Texels to £128 from Firm of G Gray, Selkirk. Handy weight hogs in general 220p-240p with nicer sorts 260p-300p. Hoggs 45kg-50kg selling between £90-£100 with the over-weights £95-£110 depending on quality. Hill bred hoggs to 217.1p for SBF from M Kidd, Congleton with Swales to 215.5p from S Crane. Dalesbred sold to £96 from R Coates. Handy weight Mules 205p-214p with heavier pens £90-£95. Lightweights often around 230p topping at 268.6p from MW&MR Black, Kendal with Swales to 221.2p from A&M Brennand.
