Auctioneer’s Report (Will Alexander): A few missing entries led to a smaller show, falling short of buyers requirements. A blistering trade however, with heifers topping at £2400 from The Booths of Wigglesworth Hall, The Lawrence Family of Grange close behind at £2380, whilst Thomas Whitfield and James Bainbridge both realised £2200. New vendors from Hawes, J Sunter & Sons, peaked at £2120 for their trio, whilst the best of David Knowles’ pair made £2120, with all forward averaging £2001. Cows to high of £2200 for a 3rd calver again from the Booths.
