Auctioneer’s Report (Will Alexander): A mixed entry forward, with the better end selling well. Tom Stables, Urswick, Ulverston taking the top spots in both the heifer and cow sections, his best heifer Boltonmanor Pepper Doreen 23, 16days fresh with a 28litre yield realised £2600, whilst his 2nd calved cow Boltonmanor Maui Margaret 27, pumping out an impressive 52litres saw the hammer fall at £2500, both heading home with Mark Conder, Gressingham. A trio of cracking heifers from The Lawrence Family, Grange over Sands saw their best hit £2200, others £2100 and £2000. Dave Barton, Lupton Hall back in the game with a pair at £2180 & £2100. Next draw £1700-£1850, with a few plainer end around £1400.
