Auctioneer’s Report (Stephen Dennis):

An outstanding show of Beltex & Texel x lambs put before sale day judge Mick Etherington who chose Stephen & Adam Lawson’s pen of Beltex x lambs weighing 41kg as his 1st choice. He later bought them for £122 per head. 2nd placed lambs from Ben and Katie Thompson of Newfield weighed in at 40kg selling for £120.50 also to the judge, buying on behalf of Kitsons Butchers of Northallerton and Yarm. Frankland Farms were again in the prizes with Richard and Jonathan showing their 39kg lambs which sold to Simon Heather on behalf of Fittons Wholesale Butchers of Oldham. Congratulations to all exhibitors for an outstanding show and thanks to our sponsors Thornton Breakers.
